Yes! Lab grown diamonds are chemically, optically and physically identical to mined diamonds. The only difference between mined and lab grown diamonds is where they were formed.

Lab grown diamonds are a wonderful alternative to mined diamonds. Lab grown diamonds are real diamonds, but they are more affordable and are considered more sustainable than mined diamonds. We have chosen each one of our lab grown diamond ourselves with great care. The diamonds used in our jewellery are high or fine quality compared to many mined diamonds found on the market. We offer a range of different diamond sizes and shapes, which are more affordable, high quality, and more ethical than mined diamonds. 

All of our jewellery is designed by our founders, Hayley and Tero, and each of our jewellery pieces is handmade in Finland by skilled Finnish goldsmiths. 

Diamonds that are 0.30ct and larger are have their own certification documents, which our customers receive with their purchase of our lab grown diamond jewellery. The smallest diamonds are unfortunately not certified.

We understand that it can be challenging to find the right ring size, but thankfully we have made a whole guide on how to do it! We have included a few different methods, as well as a printable PDF document that includes ring size comparison diagrams and a ring sizer that can be cut out. Yes. All of our jewellery pieces has a 3 year warranty which covers any defects from manufacture or workmanship. Please note that our jewellery is handmade and there might be some very slight differences between the pieces. Find more information from our Warranty.

We use 100% recycled gold to create our jewellery. Gold is a very durable material that can be used infinitely without declining in quality. Recycled gold is simply gold that has been loved and used in the past that has been melted down, refined, and cast again into pieces that can be used to make new jewellery. Recycled gold is sustainable and environmentally conscious. Gold retains all of its qualities no matter how many times it is melted down, refined and remade into different jewellery pieces! Yes, we offer chains in sizes 42cm, 45cm and 50cm. If you would like to longer or shorter length chain, please kindly contact us at info@svanhilde.com, and we will get back to you with more details!

We have a 30 day return or exchange policy, which means you have 30 days after receiving your jewellery to request a return or exchange. You can find more information from our Return Policy page.

Absolutely! We offer one free resizing for rings, within 30 days of purchasing the ring. This also includes the rhodium plating for white gold rings. The resizing process takes around 7-10 days, after which time we will ship your ring back to you. You can read more from our Ring Resizing page.
